434 Ferritic stainless steel. Containing 12% to 30% chromium. Its corrosion resistance, toughness and weldability with the increase of chromium content, chloride stress corrosion resistance is better than other types of stainless steel.
434 (18Cr-1Mo) is 430 steel improved steel, salt-resistant than 430 steel, used for automotive exterior decorative materials. Corresponding to the national standard 1Cr17Mo, Japanese standard SUS434.

C: ≤ 0.12; Mn: ≤ 1.00; Si: ≤ 1.00; Cr: 16.0 ~ 18.0; P: ≤ 0.04S: ≤ 0.03; Mo: 0.75~1.25.
