5CrNiMo Steel Product Introduction
5CrNiMo steel has good toughness, strength and high wear resistance, is a hot work mold steel. Its mechanical properties are almost the same at room temperature and at 500~600℃. When heated to 500 ℃, can still hold the hardness of HB300 or so. Because the steel contains molybdenum, and thus not sensitive to temper brittleness. After cooling down slowly from 600°C, the impact toughness is only slightly reduced.
