SK80 is a carbon tool steel with high hardness, good machinability and thermal stability. It is mainly used to make high-speed cutting tools and molds. The hardness of SK80 is generally 63-65 HRC. It is a very hard material and is suitable for machining high-strength materials. SK80 has good mechanical properties. Its tensile strength can reach 2000 MPa and its yield strength can reach 1850 MPa. But its elongation is also very low, generally only 2-4%.
