SK105 steel is a Japanese Hitachi high-grade carbon tool steel. It is a low-hardenability cold-working die steel and a high-carbon steel with a carbon content of more than 1%. This kind of steel has the characteristics of good wear resistance, good cutting performance, and convenient source of raw materials, but it has the characteristics of poor hardening performance and large hardening deformation. Due to its low alloy content, poor tempering properties, and shallow hardened layer, its bearing capacity is not high.
