Tantalum Bar Astm B365 Product Introduction
ASTM B365/F560 Tantalum R05200 round rod has excellent acid resistance. In addition, it is not attacked by water at temperatures below 150 degrees Celsius. It is very flexible and can be manufactured efficiently. It has a high liquefaction point and quality. With the exception of hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid, it lies largely dormant.
Tantalum alloy rods are often alloyed with other metals to form carbide tools, which are extremely inert to except hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid and are susceptible to corrosion by alkaline solutions. The melting point of tantalum alloy rod is 2996 degrees Celsius, and its corrosion resistance is very good in most acid combinations.
