This alloy bar is stabilized by adding tantalum as well as chromium. It offers the higher creep as well as stress rupture properties, that may be used for exposure where intergranular as well as sensitization are of concern. Adding of columbium enables this alloy to have the best corrosion resistance. this Stainless Steel 347H Bar shows use in the fabrication of the equipment which are to be placed in the severe corrosive conditions. This grade of a bar can easily be annealed at the temperature ranging between 1010 °C to 1193°C.
