The production of Q245R (R-HIC) steel plate implements the national standard GB713-2014. This standard specifies the requirements for the chemical composition, mechanical properties, manufacturing process and inspection methods of the steel plate, ensuring the quality and reliability of the steel plate.
Brand Description
Q245R (R-HIC) steel plate has multiple brands to meet the needs of different users. Among them, Q245R (HIC)-I refers to the steel plate with the steel grade of Q245R, and its corrosion test only performs the hydrogen induced cracking test (HIC). Q245R (R-HIC)-I refers to the steel plate with the steel grade of Q245R, and its corrosion test includes hydrogen induced cracking test (HIC) and sulfide stress corrosion (SSCC) test. These different brands represent different corrosion resistance and uses of steel plates.
In addition, in order to meet the different requirements of users for the P and S content of steel plates, Q245R (R-HIC) steel plates are divided into three levels: Ⅰ, Ⅱ, and Ⅲ. These levels of division allow users to choose the appropriate steel plate grade according to their needs.
