ASTM A387 Grade 5 Class 2 ASTM A387/A387M is a material-graded steel alloy used in the production of pressure vessels and boilers. Constructed from chrome molybdenum, the alloy has a high-temperature tolerance of up to 600°F (316°C) with a tensile strength of no less than 90 ksi (620 MPa). ASTM A387 Grade 5 Class 2 ASTM A387/A387M provides superior performance and reliability in a variety of pressure-containing applications, specifically for high-pressure/high-temperature operations, such as boilers and other pressure vessels.
