SA387Gr22CL2 is a steel plate for boilers and pressure vessels in the American standard, and the implementation standard is: ASME SA-387/SA-387M - 2019.
SA-387 is the manufacturing technical condition number of "chromium-molybdenum alloy steel plate for pressure vessels", where S is the ASME code, A is the steel material (if it is B is non-ferrous metal), 387 is the technical condition serial number, and Gr22 is grade 22. According to ASME Ⅱ-2007, SA-387 has 10 grades, including 2, 12, 11, 22, 22L, 21, 21L, 5, 9 and 91. Different grades have different chemical compositions and mechanical properties of materials.
