Q355 H-shaped steel is made of Q355 steel as raw material. Q355 steel is a commonly used low-alloy high-strength structural steel in China, which replaces Q345. Q355 H-section steel has a minimum yield strength of 355 MPa (51 ksi) and a tensile strength of 470-630 MPa (68-91 ksi). According to GB/T 1591-2018, Q355 has three steel grades: Q355AR, Q355M and Q355N. These steel grades are represented by the quality grade suffix letters B, C, D, E and F.
Q355B is one of the low carbon alloy steels. Welded steel H beam Q355B has high strength and stronger buckling resistance. Compared with hot-rolled H-shaped steel, it can save 10%-15% of materials, reduce the weight of building structures by 30%-40%, and reduce the weight of bridge structures by 15%-20%. Compared with hot-rolled H beam, welded H beam steel has high-precision dimensional properties and can be customized.
