Application：
H-shaped steel is widely used, mainly used in: various civil and industrial building structures; various large-span industrial plants and modern high-rise buildings, especially industrial plants in areas with frequent seismic activities and high-temperature working conditions; large bridges that require large bearing capacity, good section stability, and large spans; heavy equipment; highways; ship skeletons; mine support; foundation treatment and dam engineering; various machine components.
H-shaped steel is an economical cross-section steel with better cross-section mechanical properties developed from the optimization of I-shaped steel, especially the cross-section is the same as the English letter "H". Its characteristics are as follows:
◆The flange is wide and the lateral rigidity is large. Strong bending resistance, about 5%-10% higher than I-beam.
◆Both surfaces of the flange are parallel to each other, making connection, processing and installation easy.
◆Compared with welded I-beam, it has low cost, high precision, small residual stress, no need for expensive welding materials and weld inspection, saving about 30% of the steel structure manufacturing cost.
◆Under the same section load. The hot-rolled H steel structure is 15%-20% lighter than the traditional steel structure.
