Q235 A36 C Channel Beam

1, ASTM 36 is the American standard carbon structural plate, the implementation of the standard ASTM A36/A36M-03a, this standard is applicable to riveted, bolted and welded structures for Bridges and buildings, as well as general purpose structural steel quality carbon steel sections, plates and bar steel. 1, Q in Q235 represents the yield limit of this material, and 235 in the back refers to the yield value of this material, which is about 235MPa. The yield value decreases with the increase of the thickness of the material (plate thickness/diameter ≤16mm, yield strength is 235MPa; 16mm< Plate thickness/diameter ≤40mm, yield strength of 225MPa; 40mm< Plate thickness/diameter ≤60mm, yield strength of 215MPa; 60mm< Plate thickness/diameter ≤100mm, yield strength of 205MPa; 100mm< Plate thickness/diameter ≤150mm, yield strength of 195MPa; 150mm< Plate thickness/diameter ≤200mm, yield strength 185MPa). Due to moderate carbon content, good comprehensive performance, strength, plasticity and welding properties have been better matched, the most widely used.

2, composed of Q+ number + quality grade symbol + deoxidation method symbol. Its steel number is prefixed with "Q", which represents the yield point of the steel, followed by a number indicating the yield point value in MPa. For example, Q235 indicates a carbon structural steel with a yield stress (σs) of 235 MPa.
