ST37-2 is a German carbon structural steel material brand. This material corresponds to the carbon structural steel Q235B (old brand: A3-B) in my country, which is mainly used in construction and underground engineering. In addition, since this steel is similar to my country's high-quality carbon structural steel 20 steel, it is also replaced by 20 steel.
Q235B consists of Q+number+quality grade symbol+deoxidation method symbol. Its steel number is prefixed with "Q", which represents the yield point of the steel, and the number behind it represents the yield point value in MPa. For example, Q235 represents a carbon structural steel with a yield point (σs) of 235 MPa. If necessary, the symbol indicating the quality grade and deoxidation method can be marked after the steel number.
