Chemical composition of SM490
The chemical composition of SM490 mainly includes carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), sulfur (S) and phosphorus (P). Specifically, the range of its chemical composition is roughly: carbon (C) content does not exceed 0.20%, silicon (Si) content does not exceed 0.55%, manganese (Mn) content does not exceed 1.60%, sulfur (S) and phosphorus (P) content does not exceed 0.035%.
Please note that the chemical composition may vary slightly depending on the specific SM490 plate model (e.g. SM490A, SM490B, SM490C, etc.) and the manufacturer. In addition, the proportions of these chemical components are precisely controlled and adjusted to ensure that the SM490 steel plate has excellent mechanical properties and weldability.
