Angle steel, also commonly known as angle iron, is a long strip of steel with two sides perpendicular to each other. There are equiangular and unequal angles. The width of both sides of the equiangular steel plate is the same. Its dimensions are expressed in millimeters. For example, "∟30×30×3" refers to equiangular steel with a side length of 30 mm and a side length of 3 mm. It can also be marked with the model number, which is in centimeters, such as ∟3#.
The model number does not indicate the dimensions of different side thicknesses in the same model. Therefore, the side width and side thickness dimensions of the angle steel should be filled in completely on the contract and other documents to avoid using the model number alone. The specifications of hot-rolled equilateral angle steel are 2#-20#. Angle steel can form a variety of stress-bearing components according to different structural requirements, and can also be used as a connector between components. The specifications of angle steel are expressed by the dimensions of side length and side thickness. (1) Inspection method:
① Tensile test method. Commonly used standard inspection methods include GB/T228-87, JISZ2201, JISZ2241, ASTMA370, ГОСТ1497, BS18, DIN50145, etc.;

1. Selection of raw materials: The raw materials of angle steel are generally Q195, 10#, 20#, 35#, 45#, Q215, Q235, 304, 316, 20Cr, 40Cr.20CrMo, 35CrMo, 42CrMo, 40CrNMo, GCr15, 65Mn, 50Mn, 50Cr, 3Cr2W8V, 20CrMnTi, 5CrMnMo, etc., the quality of steel blanks should comply with current standards.
2. Use the steel rolling machine to repeatedly roll the purchased steel into a V shape.
3. Roll to the required length according to customer needs, the general lengths are 6 meters, 9 meters and 12 meters.
4. After the angle steel is produced, anti-rust treatment is carried out on the angle steel according to the requirements. Generally, there are two types: painting and galvanizing. Taking common galvanized angle steel as an example, the process steps of galvanizing angle steel are pickling-water washing-dipping and aid plating. Solvent - drying, preheating, rack plating - cooling - chemical - cleaning - polishing.
