Q235 Angle Steel is a carbon structural steel commonly used in China, the first "Q" stands for yield of the material, and the last "235" refers to the yield value of the material, which is about 235 MPA.
SS400 steel Angle is a commonly used structural steel grade in Japan, the first "S" stands for "steel", the latter "S" stands for "structural", 400 is the lower limit of the tensile strength 400 MPa, the overall representative of the tensile strength of 400 MPa commonly used structural steel.
SS400 material is basically equivalent to Q235 material (equivalent to Q235A) in China, but there are differences in specific indicators. Q235 requires elements such as C, Si, Mn, S, P, etc., while SS400 only requires S, P less than 0.050, and the yield point of Q235 is greater than 235MPa, while the yield point of SS400 is 245MPa.
