O1 Tool Steel Rectangular Bar is a precision ground, oil-hardened, non-shrinkage, versatile tool steel. It is a general purpose tool steel often used where other alloy steels do not provide sufficient hardness, strength and wear resistance. O1 tool steel has a lower austenitizing temperature and can reach a hardness of 65 Rockwell C.
O1 Tool Steel Rectangular Bar is a practical manufacturing material with many advantageous properties in a variety of industries. It has excellent strength and wear resistance while also having good machinability. Tool steel rectangular bars are held to tight tolerances and are non-deformable tool steels; due to their strength, hardness, ability to hold an edge, and wear resistance, tool steel rectangular bars are a good material for manufacturing.
