Q345 Q420 H Profile steel
The low-alloy high-strength steel Q420 produced in China has a yield strength of 420 MPa. It is tested using 16 mm diameter steel bars or steel sheets. The tensile strength is 520~680 MPa and the material density is 7.85 g/cm3. Q420 is divided into five quality levels according to GB/T1591-2008 standard: Q420a, Q420b, Q420C, Q420D, Q420E.
Q345 is a low alloy steel commonly used in automobiles, bridges, ships, construction and other industries. Q is the yield point and 345 is the yield strength. Therefore, it is important that the yield strength decreases as the thickness of the material increases.
